National Commodity Futures Exam

This Series 3 exam qualifies a representative to sell futures contracts.

EXAM PREREQUISITES:

The NASD has no stipulated prerequisites.

THE EXAM:

The Series 3 exam is administered by the NASD and is given in two parts that consist of a total of 120 questions. Students are given 150 minutes to complete the exam. The test is comprised of true/false and four-option multiple-choice questions. The exam is computer-based although no special computer skills are required. Students are provided with scratch paper, a pencil and a simple calculator at the testing center. Students must receive a score of 70% or better to pass.
